KING PROTEA

BOTANICAL NAME: PROTEA CYRANOIDES
COMMON NAME: KING PROTEA - WHITE

Proteas are all South African native flowers
and are commonly found throughout Australia.

They are grown on strong, woody stems with
oval green leaves. Their so called petals are
called brackets which explain their tough exterior.
They compliment any arrangement or can
make a bold statement in any room or
occasion by themselves.

AVAILABILITY: September - March

STEM LENGTH: 40-90 cm

HINTS FOR FLOWER CARE:
All Proteas like to be under strong light, natural or artificial as it can help prevent their leaves going black.
