FLOWERS

THRYPTOMENE

Thryptomene is grown mostly in the Grampians region of Victoria, about 3 hours from Melbourne. It bears hundreds of tiny white flowers with small spear shaped leaves. The main season starts in mid April and finishes towards the end of August. The flowers can completely cover the branches to offer a huge array of colour. Used mainly as a filler, with the large bunches providing enough material for many arrangements.

Available: April - August
Stem length: 60cm
Botanical name: Thryptomene Calycina
Common name: Thryptomene
